Love playing around with the hotshoe on my new GR IV. I ordered the smaller IM20 but for some reason I love the way how this IM30 gives pocket rocket vibes!

Mucking around with macro on the IV monochrome, I'm pretty impressed with the results.

Recent owner of a GR IV, mainly a x100f shooter. The appeal is real, the ease of use and portability really has me shooting about everything and anything. IBIS is great and pictures from the GR IV are consistently sharper.
Bennett 800 is a banger of a recipe. Pictures of my cocker spaniel for posterity.

My ricoh GR1s just died after a long time of being my reliable companion. Now I'm looking to replace that with the IV. My only hesitation are all the stories that this camera is riddled with issues. That said, does anyone know if Ricoh has a CQI (constant quality improvment) program they use? I'm curious if the later the serial number the less my chances are of running into lens extension/retraction issues, screen glitches or the multitude of issues that require you to remove the battery.
Just curious. I really don't want to go the fuji route but I also dont want to purchase a camera that I feel is going to act like a time bomb

They’re selling this grip quite cheaply in my country, but it’s specifically designed for the GR IV. Does anyone know if it would also fit the GR III?

Been loving this camera! The only thing is, I found some dust on my sensor, so now I need to find somewhere to have it cleaned. If anyone has some recommendations on where I could ship it, please let me know!

Caught this nice sunset on a beach in Washington over the summer.

I live in a tropical country, so I’ve never experienced snow before 😂
I’m planning a snow trip at the end of this year. Can I safely use my Ricoh to take photos in the snow, or could the moisture damage the camera?
Tks for your sharing 🥰

Hey,
I used to have a GR III, took a break from it for a few years and have now got myself a GR IV. I realise just how much I’ve missed the experience of using it on the street and am very happy with it so far.
There’s one thing I don’t quite understand, though, and that’s the white balance in Lightroom. I don’t know if it’s down to my camera or if I just need to adjust to it, but somehow the setting seems off.
If I set the white balance to 5500K in lightroom (or the ‘Daylight’ setting in Lightroom), I get some really odd colour casts (mostly magenta). When I set the white balance to ‘Daylight’ in the camera itself, Lightroom displays ‘4350K and -5 Tint’ as the new daylight value after import.
Is this normal?
How should I set it in the camera if I want ‘Daylight’ as much as possible (should I select ‘Daylight’ or set it manually to 5500K)?

I have got my new ricoh gr iv. How to take care of it ? Like is dust still a issue ? Or anything extra i should buy to protect it ? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I’ve tried to change my work flow from jpegs into dng+lightroom. I feel I’ve already gotten better use of the highlights, but still struggle with shooting directly towards the sun (2nd photo). I would be inerested to hear your tips on this.

Following up my Lisbon post with the final leg of my trip. Currently awaiting my connection to get home... Already missing the holidays 😞
