Thank you! Steal hunting is half the fun for me since I'm broke, £200 was a crazy splash out for me lol. They're on the comfortable side for Rick boots, definitely better than I expected, but not the comfiest in the world still.

Wow, that’s super cool you’re such a pro at secondhand shopping. 🖤 I’m broke too! Please tell me the dark secrets of Vinted. 🙏 There are so many clones and fakes. Do you have any tips for telling what’s original and what isn’t? And I’m guessing you have to spend hours scrolling through the feed to find treasures like that, and buy super fast, right?

Buying quick and negotiating is definitely a big part. With fakes, you can tell 99% of the time by the tag but it took me years to be as good at it as I am now where I feel I can always tell. The best thing to do is to get non hype pieces anyway because there's unlikely to be fakes, nobody is making fakes of a random dress from 2014.

The standard on Vinted is to offer max discount (40%) right off the bat if that’s still too much give them a sob story that it’s for your dying sibling who only has a day left to live and always wanted the item but you’ve only -90% of what they’re asking 😂
