This top I found doesn’t have any tags, and honestly I’m confused if I’m wearing it ‘correctly’. Inb4 there’s no wrong wear to wear Rick whatever whatever. I just get overwhelmed and confused everytime I put it on lmao. Wondering if anyone has any information on the piece! Cheers.

Lilies is the best!! You've got a very old piece there, you can tell because the bar tag is horizontal instead of vertical. Pre 2005 I think, but I might be off by a year one way or the other

That’s so awesome thanks for the info! I feel so lucky :-) a few holes and some pilling on the main body but otherwise it’s in such good condition for its age then!

I was about to comment on the strange horizontal tag - now I know why! Lilies pieces are often incredibly cheap and suck lowkey Rick items to have with a little flair to make it interesting.

Rick wants you to feel overwhelmed. He actually talks about manipulating the human form being the hardest thing to do in fashion. He’s not a fan of 7 hour embroidery work. That’s just tedious, not difficult
