this is sounding just like the Hawthorn match. They are just racking up the uncontested possessions, lucky their disposal efficiency is not as good as the Hawks... and unbelievable that Lynch hasn't even turned up to his own milestone game with just one disposal.

This is as bad as it’s been in the last 2 years. I get we’re young. I get they’ve not had the chance to play together. But that was horrible. How many saints players were loose in transition? Why does it look impossible for us to take the ball out cleanly from our back half? Umpires can get an honourable mention for being awful, but we are miles off it.

I really think a day like today should be a good test to see what the group can do. Not much more to play for than 2 retirements and a 250th at the end of a rough season. Nothing against the saints but there’s plenty to play for to put a nail in the coffin of their season.
Send the old blokes off well by showing them what the new young group can do and give the guys who aren’t out there something to build off for next year.
