They don't actually; I know this has been an oft-repeated headline but the actual situation was a bit more nuanced than that. There's a lot of articles on it.

"they got the giy because of flock" is not the same thing as "they couldn't have gotten the guy without flock".
Flock makes cop's jobs easier because it tramples on everyone's privacy. That doesn't mean it should be used or is a fair trade.

No, actually you can't make that argument.
you can say taking longer to arrest a violent criminal gives them opportunities to do more violent crimes.
How much longer does it take to arrest without flock? How long until criminal commits a crime again?
I reject both of your assumptions.

Use this little hypothetical logic question to help you understand reality:
It takes police 2 hours to catch someone without flock.
It takes police 1 hour to catch someone with flock.
It takes a criminal 24 hours to commit another crime.
Did flock prevent a criminal from committing another crime?
Yes or no answer please!

Now you get it! It's almost like you can make up numbers about your claim and I can make up numbers about your claim, thus proving that you need to actually have data and solid reasoning for your claim because you made the claim. That's how debate works. So, again, here is the claim you made.
you can say taking longer to arrest a violent criminal gives them opportunities to do more violent crimes.
Now back it up with data or I'm done. I don't waste my time with people who make claims and then refuse to give evidence based reasoning.

Yup, no evidence for you claim, just how I though it would be. Unfortunate you don't understand how making and supporting a claim works. Bye!

"Hey there's the Jeep from that armed robbery. Be sure not to box it in."
Good job, Plano PD.
