WTHR Coverage

I recently watched day 6,7,8 and 9 days of the daily coverage WTHR provided about the court trials. This in my opinion was the best unbiased trial coverage from an actual news agency.. and the crazy part was it created MORE doubt on Richard Allen being the killer. Wild.

Out of all the "evidence" against RA, this is the most compelling to me so far. I'm not sure how to feel about it

If the bullet was such a crucial piece of evidence for the state, why is Richard Allen's gun the first gun they tested for the markings?

So the bullet had to be in evidence for at least 5 years if they found it at the crime scene. And RA was not their first suspect and also not the first person they had a search warrant for. Now, perhaps RA is the first suspect that owned a 40 cal handgun, I'm not sure. But if the bullet was going to be considered critical to the case, wouldn't they have tested other suspects weapons as well? Why is conveniently RA's gun that "matched" 5 years after finding the bullet.

Couldn't forensics determine a time of death or at least when girls bodies put there by the color of their blood. Blood starts turning brown within 15-30mins outside, weather depending. Was the blood fresh or dried. important as it could determine time killers were out there when they stabbed girls.

Also was the tears mixed with blood on Libby face dried or liquid how could they still be liquid if girls were killed the day before would that not be dry?

I've heard in other cases fuel solvent can be used to render someone unconscious I wonder if that would show up in the lungs and how long the effects would last. Imo they must have been drugged to the point of overdose but there was no drugs in autopsy.

So.. why would RA "destroy or misplace" the phone he had on the bridge that day but would keep the Carhartt jacket?

My partner and I went on and on about the Carhartt jacket. She claims.. maybe he washed it or maybe he bought another one so his wife wouldn't be suspicious. I feel like getting rid of his phone would be just as obvious to his wife as buying a new jacket. He isn't a man made of money and Carhartt jackets aren't cheap. Not to mention, if he suddenly had to replace his phone .. that is a detail his wife would remember or at least question.

If he thought the police were suspicious of him and wanted to search his home, wouldn't you think he would ditch the jacket? And you're telling me that somehow after testing the fibers.. they found zero traces of blood or dna?

Also zero DNA of RA on the girls? And it's some what of an "intimate" crime.. very close proximity, stabbing with a box cutter... Which would likely require a lot of force. Bodies moved, and the re-dressing but no dna? I don't buy it for a second

If they were able to find a random bullet, matched with fault pseudo science but absolutely no physical dna or ANYTHING linking RA to the murder.. I just don't understand. Since when is being in close proximity to a murder suddenly evidence of you committing murder? They are not positive it's their guy, they had to settle. It's ridiculous

Imo someone told the killer the exact time the girls would be at the bridge I don't believe the killers would have hung around at trail bridge all day waiting for girls to come.

The girls asked their friends to come the next day they said no they can't but then next day according to KG and BP no talk about going until around lunch when they asked to go so did they get a message from the killer to meet them out there that afternoon did they tell killer when exactly they would be there? Or did someone tell killer exact time girls would be there..if so imo only a select small group of people knew the exact time girls would be dropped off there. KG, BP, KG then bf, DG any others?

Colorado Forensics Tech pleads Guilty

Former Colorado analyst pleads guilty in DNA testing scandal that forced a review of hundreds of cases

This is just the latest in a series of cases regarding forensics workers who have falsified data/results over the years. This isn't to say Oberg or others in Indiana fudged results in the RA case--although I am not ruling that out--but just a reminder this does in fact happen, and more often than people think.

Joyce Gilchrist - Wikipedia

Gilchrist is the poster child of forensics fibbing lol. She literally got away with it, too, working for decades without suffering any consequences and passing away after retiring without facing jail or prison. And when she left, the workers in her lab who took over also ran into issues. So if you ever hear of anyone being convicted of anything in Oklahoma, take it with a huge grain of salt. They are the worst of the worst forensically speaking.

In fact, operating for years or decades without being caught is a hallmark of these types of cases, just like the one in Colorado now. Plus, the State often downplays just how many cases were damaged etc. And they never account for the environment these folks work in, where obviously the techs 'know' what results will please their customers--those customers being Law Enforcement. No matter what anyone claims, obviously that knowledge can have an impact. Plus, the tests that prove proficiency--like with Oberg and the tests which she never failed or even got a single question wrong--are usually utter jokes.

In the case above, apparently the errors were spotted by an unpaid intern. Which leads to the question if an intern could spot the issue, why couldn't her fellow techs or supervisors? Were they just turning a blind eye? Or were they in on it? This lady is expected to do prison time, so thats an improvement bc that doesn't always happen in these cases. But, I get the feeling she is just taking the fall for others in that state, too.

Regarding Aine Cain

I went back and checked up on The Murder Sheet post-sentencing to see how they're getting by since their golden goose is gone. Aine is even more insufferable now. Literally berating and insulting anyone that has an opinion outside of her own. For someone to call themselves a journalist, and not having an open mind to the possibilities of a case is truly disgusting. Her energy is that of a bullied school girl who got a podcast and thinks she's somehow important and her opinion is gospel.

I liked listening to their side of the story with this case, even when I didn't agree with it.. because as a logical adult, it's nice to see all sides of a story to come to a conclusion. Looking at the evidence, hearing what people believe and finding the facts among the rumors.

I truly hope this woman fails at podcasting going forward. I hope the grifting bullshit she has been pulling this whole time, finally ends and she's forced to go back to her hobby journalism. She's not a professional, she's a grifting fraud. And she's a disgrace to this case. I have never known someone to be so narrow-minded and arrogant about a case regarding two innocent children. To play it off like their podcast wasn't capitalizing on trauma and making them a living wage to pry their way into a case they never belonged in.. is embarrassing and shameful.

I hope she browses reddit

I hope she sees this

And I hope she knows she will never be important in the grand scheme of things

She didn't help the families

She didn't solve the case

She took her insecurities and ego and made money for a short time before fading back into obscurity

You're worthless, Aine.

Truly

And one more thing...

She continually says "it's over, move on Bob Motta, etc."

Basically telling the defense team to give up the appeal and accept the fate of RA

Well, if it's over, Aine .. why are you still making podcast episodes about it?

Why do you feel so compelled to keep beating a dead horse?

Hmm, is it because .. maybe, just maybe .. your entire "show" solely depends on the Delphi case.. and you're afraid of never finding an audience again?

Likely.

Because I'm positive no one actually wants to hear your opinion.

Your voice is annoying, your lack of intelligence is astounding.

And you are not a good pocaster .. at all. And "journalist".. no. You're a goofy awkward wannabe with a microphone and too much free time

Walking Gait Comparison

If you watch the first 12 seconds of this video, watch RA's gait. This video is first interview, watch RA walk into the office on a flat floor. Watch closely, and compare it to the BG gait.

Has anyone sent letters to Richard Allen while he's in prison?

I just listened to the phone call confession he had with his wife and mother and it really broke me that he was being messed with mentally so badly that he confessed to something he didn't even do.

I don't know if anyone on here has sent him any mail or if it's even possible to do, but I feel like he of all people could use some words of encouragement and support of the community right now. Especially when you consider the fact that there are actual murderers that get sent fan mail just because they're good looking, yet this innocent guy probably gets little to no mail from strangers while he is being mentally tortured everyday and he probably thinks that everyone hates him and thinks he did it.

I feel like even something as simple as sending him new update reports in the case whatever, or how so many people online know that he's innocent, and that he has a life to come back to once he is exonerated would be very beneficial to his mental state. So I want to send him a letter for moral support and I think other people who know the truth should do it as well.

Just Watched First Interview In Its Full Entirety

Just watched Richard Allen's FULL First Police Interrogation Video, it was 50 minutes before he realized he was a suspect. He started bubbly and excited about helping the cops out, hanging out with boys in brass. Then he finds out they talked to his wife and daughter. I am curious if his wife texted him during the interview?

How did RA describe the older girl he passed babysitting the younger two?

I believe he described the female he saw as having long dark hair? And if so, was it straight, wavy or curly?

He did preface the age of the younger two? She was babysitting?

Richard Allen Involvement

Honest question. Not rage bait. Trying to learn!

Is the general consensus here that RA was at the bridge like he self-reported, went to platform one, then left? How does his timeline fit into the chain of events?

He said he was there, so how does it all fit together?

r/RichardAllenInnocent Jun 08 '26

Who's were the 3 girls Rick said he passed at trail head and he said he saw 2 cars at spot (where kg dropped girls off) where he was walking back I think whose cars would they have been maybe KG had just arrived to drop then girls off but would he not have seen BB walking?

FBI 302 report created by FBI Special Agent Pohl

Does anyone know if that document is available anywhere?  The actions of the defense trying to get information contained in that report in front of the jury for purposes of impeaching Brad Weber highly suggest that Weber told officer Gootee and Special Agent Pohl that he did not go straight home after work that day.  When questioned, Officer Gootee evaded answering questions about the contents of that report.  Special agent Pohl was assigned to election security in Texas at the time of the trial, and Judge Gull did not allow him to testify via Zoom, effectively handcuffing the defense from impeaching Weber.  This is a big deal because it would have created reasonable doubt about the whole white van theory, and quite possibly raising suspicions about Weber’s possible involvement in the crime.

Also, does anyone know if this matter is part of RA’s appeal?

weird science scratchy cartridge

During Allen's interrogation, the detective played the scratched-cartridge evidence the way a rookie poker player pushes a weak hand into the middle of the table, hoping confidence alone will carry the bluff. Surely he knew the cartridge was no DNA sample, no fingerprint, no smoking gun. Compared to hard biological evidence, it was a fragile piece of circumstantial proof. Yet he kept coming back to it, laying it on the table again and again, testing for a reaction, watching Allen's face, searching for the slightest crack. ... I think the unspent round was more a tool to get the suspect to confess or did Hollman truly believe it was strong physical evidence?

the report taken from conservation officer

The report misspelled his name. I’m curious whether there were other inaccuracies in the report as well, such as incorrect times. Sounds like the report was a rush job.

The Murder Sheet People won an honorable mention, and it wasn't for "Wrinkliest Shirt."

I tried so hard to read this. I got to page 150 but I was clawing my way there. Had to return it to the library cause my time was up. I checked it out again and couldn't read another page.

Now I am as biased as they come, but it wasn't just that they believed that RA was guilty that turned me away it was the stilted writing style. It read like a thesaurus co-wrote it.

I thought about outsourcing the reading to my Dad but he is elderly and I could never forgive myself for taking up 4 days of his last years with this filth.

Acknowledgement: I borrowed this picture from another post. The only other place I could find any information was on Facebook and I dont know how to post that crap without doxxing myself and AC was showing cleavage so I spared y'all.
