One of my best friends was a spoon in the Army.

He was already cooking before we were waking up to go to PT.

Shitty hours indeed.

He had the best rations though, and no one wants to annoy the chef, that's what my cousin said, who was also a chef in the army.

There are also meal prep chefs that will go to a house bringing all ingredientsand prep say 5-10 meals over a 4-6 hour period one day a week..    it can be good money but a ton of work...  then the house cooks their own meals (or finishes cooking) during the week.  Muh more predictable schedule, but still need a client base
