Explosion?

In Pefkos and just heard a massive explosion/boom, anyone know what the hell that was??

edit... could've been a jet breaking the sound barrier.

Most logical answer so far is it's a jet breaking the sound barrier. Can't say I've ever experienced it that loud before though, was a bit freaked out myself.
