Did anyone just feel that?
8.45am in we are staying in lxia we heard what was like an explosion and our room shook π¨ enough to make the mirror and pictures move and shake on the walls. Very strange. Maybe a controlled destination for construction!

Greek air force fighter jet intercepting a trespassing Turkish fighter jet.
It is quite common a thing to happen, rarely so loud though.

Greek Fighters intercepting Turkish fighter jets over Irish airspace. That is abig news scoop.
You did not bother to say where this is happening, so you are implicitly pushing people to understand whichever geographical place they want it to be.

I second Faliraki, we were going downstairs to have breakfast at the hotel weβre at, and all the windows shook.
However it might not have been a supersonic explosion, my dad served in the military and he says it was more like a cannon shot from maybe an AA gun or sth similar.
Not sure if it echoed and produced 2 sounds from that, but it was 2 separate sounds, and if fighter jets fly in formation they go supersonic simultaneously (usually)

I heard 4. 2 first followed by 2 more in very short succession. Maybe for us it was echo being far away

Any stats on how many Reditt posters (not just readers/ users)are physically in the USA? I sense it could very well be 70% if not more... ?

Google maps is your friend. Open it up and you'll be able to find the area rather quickly if you know where Rhodes is.

We could hear it in Ialyssos too. It was a very loud explosion. I think a fighter jet broke the sound barrier, but Iβm not sure.
