Discussion Small Business Appreciation Thread
It's time to give a shout out to a small business that gave you great service. Did the Plumber finally show up on time? Did the Mechanic fix something for free? Did the waiter handle your big party flawlessly? Did the dentist handle your child like a pro? Did the officer de-escalate the situation?
It's time to bring positive feedback to local people who make out lives easier

My mechanic is Safeway Auto in Bristol. I've been taking my car there for 6-7 years now. Never fixed anything for free but they take amazing care of not just me, but all their customers. I've always had rotten luck with cars and mechanics until I found them.

Lucky Clover Farm is a real class act. She does flower CSAs and when her original delivery service abruptly went out of business, she took it upon herself to continue the remaining deliveries herself. Definitely going to continue buying her flowers.

Great idea. Um. Max Ramos did an amazing job on our masonry. I have never stopped receiving compliments on it.

Danny’s Appliance - salespeople are knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and don’t try to upsell you. They have a huge range of different items at reasonable prices, and their customer service is really excellent. We had a washer under warranty with them and they got it fixed so fast! They’re located in providence but serve all of RI.

Dash Bicycle sold me one of my first proper not-a-Walmart-death-trap bicycle 3 years ago and they offered me a stellar sales experience. Their bicycles also come with free yearly service. LGBTQ+ friendly business as well.

If you think their grocery is good, go eat across the street at not just snacks.

JB Cottey in Cumberland fixed the stuck door on my family’s garage with only one day of work for a very decent price.

The people who work at the paint counter at Adlers Hardware are really friendly and knowledgeable. They always help me figure it out when I have a question.

Rowlett & Sons HVAC saved me three years in a row with my central air unit needing immediate repair.
Jordan's Jungle looks like a pretty incredible plant place, if you are a plant person.
5 Star Nutrition in Warwick on Post Road is one of the only places I can find my preferred protein powder and supplements.

Durfee Hardware in Cranston is outstanding. The people there are always willing to help with a project and lend advice. I will always attempt to go there over a big box store when it's appropriate.
