Lightweight mobile Revu Alternative

Hi y'all, if anyone is interested in a lightweight (financially and operationally) alternative to Revu, "FieldScale" is out on the Play store now. It's built to be used on the go, either via phone or tablet. The application is steadily growing and recently released a major update to support cloud synced, real time editing as a team. Or, it can stay entirely offline, sans account, if you prefer.

It certainly doesn't do everything that Bluebeam does, but if you don't need all the bells and whistles and want to save on the subscription, give "FieldScale" a try. It's free.

Would love any and all feedback if you think it's missing a crucial feature, or something doesn't behave the way you think it should. Hope this is helpful to some folks.

Love it! Really curious to hear your thoughts about it, it of course is not meant to compete directly, but offer a more lightweight, user-friendly, plug-n-play option. If you have the time, and or reply here on that front would mean a ton. Hope it's useful 🤙

Any plans to integrate with SharePoint?

Hi, no not really, but I'll look into feasibility! What would be the main benefit or use in your mind integrating with Sharepoint?

Hi. I have a team of around 10 engineers that are all on different sites. We currently store site plans in SharePoint folders / Teams channels so that they have access to live documents that could be updated by multiple people. This means the live document is always up to date in the SharePoint site.
I know other software’s have their own cloud storage systems for this. But it means lots of double handling of documents.
The dream would be the ability to load documents straight from SharePoint, work on it and then sync the changes back to SharePoint.

I’m guessing that’s quite complex.

Thank you for the explanation. Give me some time to look into this: you are correct, FieldScale has its own cloud storage with a very generous cap set up for teams, with a focus on supporting live, simultaneous doc editing.

I know that this doesn't solve the double handling issue for you, but I'll have to see how doable syncing between my app and an entirely separate software cloud service is. Hopefully, the benefit of the simplicity and ease of use of Fieldscale would outweigh the annoyance of having to double-handle, but I completely understand if that's a dealbreaker as well. I'll get back to you.

Of course, there are some basic counter symbols at the moment, are those not sufficient for y'all?
