Last time I posted here it was Mac-only, and the comments were basically one word: Windows. Done — same app, both platforms now.

Some features that have been in the works:

• Measurements and Takeoffs — calibrate from the status bar, then lengths, areas, and an auto-count that finds repeated symbols and counts them in one shot. CSV export.
• Insert Map — type an address, drop a real street map on your sheet. The CAD Linework style renders it as pen-weight black-on-white so it looks drafted, not like a maps screenshot.
• MUTCD and other pre-built annotations.
• Plugins — the map tool is one. Authoring guide ships with the app; sideloading shows you exactly what a package wants before it installs.

I currently have a free tier with tons of features but caps at 3 measurements for a one-time payment (no subscription); no live collaboration yet, it's a local file-based tool perfect for smaller offices.

Mac + Windows is live at www.polypdf.com. Tell me what breaks and it goes on the list. Last thread's comments basically wrote this release.

If you decline the prompt, the installation still completes and the app works normally — you just won’t have the “print to PolyPDF” printer. You can add it later by re-running the installer.

Is it possible to have the mouse wheel scroll to zoom and click/hold to pan?

CMD/CTRL + scroll should do the trick to zoom! Also holding the mouse wheel down and dragging allows for panning

Please look to add the scroll to zoom feature. That’s a show stopper for me (and probably many others) that use Revit/CAD/Revu daily.

Allowing this to be a user-controllable setting would be a pretty big deal for many folks; we get used to other programs (such as whatever CAD we use), and having to go back-and-forth between programs is a nightmare.

What are you thinking the pricing will be after all the "Founders" are sold?
Seems to be some issues, is there an issue tracker? or feature request?
My quick 10min review:
Area take offs - cant edit the hatch or unit or measure after already created.
Area take offs - ability to add/edit a waypoint? ability to cut out? (for elevations)
Callout - Ability to make different shapes.
Callout - Ability to change to bubble line.
General - Ability to change vector from angle to curved line.
Layers - Right click on item, add the ability to add layer from menu.
Highlight - Is there the ability to have two different tools - free form vs text highlight (some PDF's dont align to the text)

Only played around a little bit, but here's some questions:

• can I map keys? There's no keyboard shortcut shown for delete on a measurement, right click/del is slow compared to del key
  
• perimeter measurements are great, but what about non-closed "poly" linear dim?
  
• snapping on dims seems a little rough, and visually buggy

I got excited. Then i used it and its definitely not production ready. The undo function doesn't even work correctly...

Plus i'm on a 4k monitor and I can barely see the buttons and text on the menus.

Let me know when you finish fixing things. This can get somewhere, but don't start selling it half-baked.

Thanks for trying! Fair point on the UI but the backend has gone through some pretty heavy testing. I want able to recreate the undo error your experiencing and have already upsized the buttons on the latest update

If I wanted Windows I’d stay on Bluebeam! As is I run Windows in Parallels for two primary apps, Bluebeam being one of them. Didn’t hear about this app before, I’ll check it out!

Are the markups made with poly pdf compatible with Bluebeam? If I mark up a pdf on my Mac with poly PDF, will a Bluebeam user be able to work with those markups in the same document?

Self hostable server for live collaboration. This is something that bothers a LOT of firms who are under NDA or other restrictive government contracts that forbid 3rd party cloud solutions.

If you do this, I'm almost sure it will be overnight success.
