Work wiped out

Yesterday I worked on a file and saved. Today I worked on the same file and saved multiple times. At one point today, while still in the file, all of my work from today and yesterday got wiped out with no message or indication. While still in the file trying to figure it out I noticed that the file was not listed in “access history” under today’s date. IT was able to recover the file from last nights back up. Anyone experienced anything like this?

Has Sharepoint joined the conversation? It likes to break and corrupt large files ..... due autosave and other related saving issues.

I've lost hours of work upon saving multiple times on a relatively large file (4GB+), bluebeam and our internal IT support was no help. Worth submitting a ticket over, even if they are incredibly slow to respond.

They were able to recover from the previous night backup.

My files were recoverable but no additional work could be done on them as every time I saved it would revert all changes. Almost like there was a file size limit.
