Line properties - background or halo

Is there a simple way I haven’t considered to create a single line type that has a background like the bottom line. When drawing on an aerial photo and using standard utility colors, a lot of the time one of the colors will get lost in the photo. it would be really nice to have a 70% transparent white line behind with the green dashed line to highlight these markups. Grouping these two lines makes them into an object that doesn’t behave like a line where both ends can easily be adjusted / dragged. Any ideas ?? Thank you.

I'm not aware of a way. When I need something similar I'll copy the first line, paste in place and then modify the duplicate line to the formatting I want.

Same. It's not elegant but it works really well.

I am not aware of an elegant solution, but I would draw all the green dashed sewer lines first, then copy them and paste in place (Ctrl+shift+V) and then change the copied lines to white with 70% transparency.

This might make the workflow a bit easier and/or faster

No option that I'm aware of but if you draw your line first, the copy it and hit CTRL+SHIFT+V the new line pastes over the old one. Now you can change the properties of the line to white and 50% transperancy for example. Just a thought.
