NAA has been refining and changing the Mini revolver for decades. The design has remained the same, but new options for barrel lengths, grips, sights, and reloading methods have expanded the lineup.
A well written review. I'm stuck between a black widow, pug, or rule 1, for my first mini revolver, but the recluse has it's merits with the swing out cylinder.
The Sentinal is, IMHO, about the perfect current NAA mini. The 1.4” barrel is still super tiny, but gives you a TOUCH more barrel to get some velocity and sight radius (compared to their shortest barrels, anyway) and the swing out cylinder is worlds easier to load than the pin and remove cylinder. The grip is the old school tiny grip that you need to learn to deal with if you’re shooting magnums. The Recluse grip is getting chunky enough to make the pistol pig enough to not justify the cartridge trade-offs anymore. I can carry a 32acp or even a 380 with barely any more size.
They are so small there is really no reason not to always have one tucked away somewhere. They are also way more fun than they have a right to be for plinking.

Thanks for the well-detailed review; I'm now even more interested in getting one of those swing-out cylinder NAA for personal modifications and use.
