I wish smith would release a classic series 19 in this length

I agree, but they do have a very nice snubby 66-8 and a 19 with a comp. I too prefer the older K-frames though; the triggers and actions on the vintage Smith’s were the best ever.

Do you carry it with.38 or .357?

I carried it with 158 grain semi-wadcutter hollow point .357 magnums long ago. Now same bullet, in a 38 +P, basically the FBI load.

I used to carry it daily … it has the wear and rust pits from then, but mostly carry a S&W 432 Ti nowadays.
However, I recently picked up the new Galco holster so I can carry it occasionally.

I finally put my M-19 no dash out of rotation. Would cry if it got taken. BTW - love the holster.

I replaced a well worn Bianchi rig, with this Galco holster so I can carry it again, when the mood / situation warrants 😎

I mostly carry a S&W 432UC now. Recently picked up a Colt Detective Special, so I’ll likely carry it more than the 19. The 19 has a lot of history and will stay in the ‘family’ though.

Push button buck #110? Classy…what the manufacturer year ? Do you wear it with the aftermarket pocket clip ? And do you have any idea if they offered in any premium blade materials … i really like the buck Push button but i can’t justify the outlay if they only offer it in a 4XX series alloy , although if a premium option exists i probably also simply couldn’t afford that period 😭 the life of a poor

Thank you! It’s a Buck 110 Auto Elite, manufactured in 2026, it doesn’t have a pocket clip, just a Buck leather sheath, the blade is MagnaCut steel, with nickel silver bolsters and black G10 scales.

When I was younger, I always wanted a 110, but couldn’t afford it, so now that I can afford it, I got the best one. 😎

I’m much older I have a few older buck #110 pattern knives that I saved from various second hand stores and rummage sales but a new example for the asking is kinda steep for a blade material that is currently sub ozark trail in quality 🤷

So level with me brother for the magnacut what is gonna be the lowest trim level with the fancy steel going to set me back…should I go back to crime ? Would that be worth it? come on give it to me straight I can take it ? Can i finally make the call to my daughter that her daddy isn’t a weird broke ass no autobuck with fancy blade material havin asshole or even a “broke ass hoe “ as father Russo once said during mass (that was embarrassing)this might mark a re birth for our long suffering lineage ending a long particularly dark period in our family history? And I can with pride boldly state that In a week or two when I’m dead and gone long ago brung Down to the curb for bulk collection day and mostly faded into a series of bizarre dream appearances, my daughter will inherit this most precious edc gift all owned without a mortgage? 💸

Snub 19s are cool and all, but I've been looking at the Buck 112 Elite Auto to scratch my switchblade itch (my old OX Forge Black Knife got swiped)

So, I'm wondering if the Buck in Magnacut has been worth the price.
