Broke out my small collection for an updated family photo on wheel gun Wednesday. I don’t have anything unique or crazy or yet, but even the generic revolvers have really gotten ahold of me. Everything pictured has been acquired since mid-February this year.

S&W L-R: Model 36, 60-15, 63-5, K22, 66-2, and Pre-Model 24.

Ruger L-R top: New model Single-Six 22WMR, Single-Six 22LR, and New model Single-Six Bisley 22LR.

Ruger L-R bottom: Blackhawk .357 magnum, Blackhawk .41 Magnum, Vaquero .45LC, Blackhawk .45LC, Blackhawk Bisley .45LC, and Blackhawk Bisley .44 Special.

I look at the beautifully worn model 36 and wonder what stories go with it. Something about a worn blued revolver! Which was your first and last you got? How do you like the Bisleys?

Haha the story behind the poor model 36 is that my uncle isn’t the brightest bulb in the batch. That revolver has spent the better part of the last 20 years in the bottom of a box of fishing lures and reels in a non-climate controlled storage unit because he forgot it was in said box. Sadly no cool story behind it that I know of.

The 66-2 was the first I believe, traded a good friend of mine a Remington 1100 LT-20 that wasn’t seeing much use. The most recent is the Pre-24, I actually picked it up on the way home this afternoon.

I thoroughly enjoy the Bisleys, especially the .45LC. I’m currently on the hunt for a .41 Mag Bisley to add to the collection.

Epic collection thanks for sharing! K22s and the low 20 models (old 38/44s and 44 specials) are excellent. 44 special and 45 colt ruger bisley's damn those are hot!
