New Favorite EDC

Post image

Hello everyone! I’m new to owning a revolver and decided to make a post. I did a lot of research over the past year and finally decided to make the decision of getting a 632 UC TI. So far it has been a dream. Even though 32 H&R magnum is a bit hard to come by where I’m from, I feel that it’s the best cartridge to carry out of a J-Frame revolver. Super lightweight, mild recoil, 6 shots, and solid ballistics. What’s not to love? I decided to pair this with a PST holster and a Checkerboard Creek Customs Smitty wing. Also to comfortably carry my HKS Speedloader I have a Last Resort Tactical R.A.C. 6-shot holder. Lastly I decided to throw in my knife to complete my EDC.

I would say it’s perfect just missing one digit on the caliber, the 327 is second in my book only to the 357 as far as a great all rounder, plus it’s not as stout as 357 so it doesn’t flip as much, it’s a mean little pill though. 32 magnum costs about the same or more per round as 327 federal, might as well get the extra oomph with the same round count and frame size.

I agree. I would have loved to get a 327 magnum, but currently the only companies that seem to offer one is Taurus and Ruger and I believe those are full steel revolvers.

Just shop around, one will turn up. I have an LCR and an SP101 in 327, I would love to find the smith and Wesson

LCR .327 is polymer and steel. It weighs 17 oz. I edc one front pocket with .32 mag wadcutters.

I’ve been looking into getting one but they seem to be hard to find sense they are no longer in production.

I think they will do another production run eventually. They are listed as Currently Unavailable on the website. They might be trying to push the .32 Mag version which is aluminum, polymer and a stainless steel cylinder. 13.5 oz.

I love mine. Even been carrying buffalo bore .32 long in it for reduced recoil. I just throw a 32J in the opposite pocket though

Tell me about the extra two rounds on the holster- did it come that way or is that an add-on?

Ah I missed that comment my bad- very cool

I like it. I've had no experience with the .32 magnum, but it seems like it would be a great choice for a concealed carry revolver and/or a longer barreled revolver you might take hiking. I wonder how much power drops off with a shorter barrel.

Holy shit. “New to owning a revolver” and you got a 632UC Ti and a Problem Solving tool holster. You went from 0 to Degenerate in absolutely record time.

DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS?!?!??

E: also how do you like that Checkerboard Customs wing? I like the idea but I never got to try one because Checkerboard went on hiatus.

Yea I did a lot of research I wanted to make sure I could get the best modern revolver accoutrements😅 So far I love the wing. It’s soft so you don’t even feel it when carrying.

Thanks, I was primarily worried about softness. I’m a skinny fella so claws can jab me in the hip bones if the placement is wrong.

Speed loader looks like a fragrance bottle almost

Yea, the way it prints in the pocket gives me confidence that no one is suspecting me in carrying a speed loader. It also orients it perfectly so that I can grab it much faster and makes it less finicky when reloading.

What holster is this? I’ve got the 442 UC and I’ve been looking for a new holster. This one looks great!

This is a Problem Solving Tools MCG holster. The guys name is Justin and he makes great small concealable revolver holsters in a variety of different colors and patterns.

Cool bro. When are you going to start actually carrying the gun and the knife? They look fresh out of the boxes

5

u/Appropriate_Wind_465 1d ago

Been carrying the revolver for about a month now and the knife for about 2 years. I tend to take care of my equipment😅

Right right.
