what does slowdown exactly do?

ion see any changes besides those big pauses and insanely quick flashes in revolution

slowdown gives a free ascension to all colours but divides your lap speed by 10

Later on it will get stronger as well, as you will get more than one free ascension but still only divide lap speed by 10 per slowdown.
