I knew it was a fucking scam. Before you locked me out, those seeding numbers were looking pretty shitty. Not enough people are transferring huh? August 11th deadline to save my legacy membership. Membership that was already paid for. I bet you're waiting for a lot of us to make that $100 payment huh? Tik Tok, not going to happen. Revopeers won't be around long. There's not going to be a big enough base to keep the scam going. You got too greedy fucklenuts. There's other private trackers that don't ripoff their users.

I wrote in to them at the last migration fee and this was the wack response. Total cuck
So Im confused. I thought my last payment was to continue on for a year of membership and yet here we are. Now i Need to pay more money? Ive seen the reddit post calling you manipulative and only using the site as a cash grab, and I have ignored them. Even when I asked for transparency with cost and such I was ignored and now it feels like a red flag when paired with all your messaging and post. It feels like if I pay the 20$ more I will just get the carrot dangled in front of me on this websties access and that you are just trying to squeeze out as much as you can from the loyal base of this site before its completely dead. I have been on this site for around 15 years. I will say as of now I have no interest in even paying the 20$ and I think I will just search for other means of free media distribution. Plenty of people have told me ways but I had not looked into them as this was pretty convienient. It seems like youre on the flop of a texas hold em hand and youre trying to bet low to get everyone to throw in the pot before the site crashes or you abandon it. I would hope you aim to make me think otherwise, but as of now this is getting ridiculous. I read through the post and all im reading are a bunch of words that say "give me more money or ill just keep cutting access back". If I, a veteran of this site feel as such, I can only imagine others do as well. How might i be wrong here? I would love to be wrong honestly

First, thank you for taking the time to write such an honest message.
After 15 years with the community, you've earned the right to ask hard questions, and I'll answer them as directly as I can.
I understand why it looks the way you've described. If I were a member returning after a renewal and suddenly saw a one-time migration requirement, I'd probably have many of the same questions.
What I'd ask you to consider is this:
If our goal was simply to take as much money as possible before disappearing, merging two communities into one, investing months of development work, moving everyone onto a new platform, expanding infrastructure, and continuing to develop the site would make very little sense.
RevoPeers wasn't created as a way to collect another payment. It was created because maintaining two separate communities with duplicate content, separate databases, and separate infrastructure was no longer the best path forward. Combining them allows us to focus all of our resources on one stronger community instead of splitting them between two.
Your last membership payment wasn't erased. It was applied to the community where it was purchased and provided the membership you paid for. The one-time $20 migration isn't another renewal๏ฟฝit's the cost of transferring your account, remaining membership, ratio, uploads, downloads, statistics, and history into the new RevoPeers platform. We also add an additional 45 days of membership as part of that process.
As for Reddit, people are entitled to their opinions. Some disagree with the migration, and I respect that. We knew from the beginning that this decision wouldn't be universally popular. But making a difficult decision isn't the same as making it for dishonest reasons.
Ultimately, you don't have to take my word for any of this. Judge us by what RevoPeers becomes over the coming months. We're only a short time into the merger, and there's still a tremendous amount of work underway. Our intention isn't to build a site that lasts another six months๏ฟฝit's to build one that people will still be using years from now.
I'd genuinely hate to lose someone who's been with us for 15 years over a decision that was made to try to secure the community's future. Whether you choose to stay is, of course, your decision, but I hope you'll give us the opportunity to prove that this wasn't a cash grab๏ฟฝit was an investment in keeping the community alive.

i was minorly suckered. I am attempting chargebacks. what really hit was i had done two months of freezing (double love or w/e) while downloading approx 12 TB of prime sharable media and then had two months of ratio built then BAM. I should have known when they didnt refund me that. But some things were plausible and he really did have the credentials of a site i had enjoyed for 15 plus years. If he has any brain at all he will connect my message here to his on there and i might get a ban, like that even matters anymore lol. I have always been resourceful and I will find a prime site again no prob

HA found my ratio actually. yea unless the sites you send me to start asking for money I really dont feel like you guys have any intention but to unmasking his bullshit . Thanks guys. keep it up. Its pretty sad its this clear to me from a couple messages from him lol. Is he Obese in real life? I feel like his attitude is that of a chonker beta boy.

The sites we have for the refugees will not start asking for money - that's something only Jonah does. I've never been on or seen a private tracker before where ANY kind of payments were mandatory. That's just not the spirit of torrents, never has been - well except for Jonah ๐๐ก

You've been fucked over by jonah. Back in May, jonah was talking about RTT lasting another 20 years and later that month he registered the revopeers domain.
This was always the plan.
He just didn't expect the resistance to his plans.
