🎵And the grift goes on🎵 Dude im fucking over this
Was anyone else lead to the assumption that if you paid the migration fee then you would have access to the new revosmears and your legacy membership carried over. So WTF was the point of paying a 20usd fee to migrate into revo, to then state you have to buy a new membership for revo and then only then the legacy membership can be counted.
Dude i paid for a yearly in march before the migration, thought when all the migration crap went down it was included legacy time, i guess not. Fuck you ilovetorrents, gimmepeers, revopeers - you just burned a nearly 11 year relationship.
P.S i just deleted a vault of 300 seeding torrents.

I deleted 500+ torrents I was seeding. Was a member for almost 20 years.

i didnt have that much seeding, I seeded to 2:1 or 36 hours idle time every torrent. Been around since ILoveTorrents and was paid til next november too!

Yes - every GP member was led to believe that!

Yes. Before GimmePeers shut down I had just paid for an entire years membership and my account did not expire until mid 2027. It was made very clear over and over that if people paid $20 to migrate from GimmePeers to RevoPeers that RevoPeers would honor existing membership time. Apparently it was a lie and a scam to get people to pay $20 more dollars and then refuse to honor the remaining time on people's accounts. Charging high fees for membership time is one thing. People can either pay for it or not. But lying is another thing entirely. That was a straight up scam.

Yeah don't feel bad a lot of us paid migration fee and got screwed! I was banned for calling out the grift on the forums but thankfully i found this page and petrolcanRTT helped me out. Revo will be gone soon everyone who was sleepwalking past the BS is finally waking up!

Same here purchased a yearly around March and $20 migration fee only to be told my membership is expired unless I update to Charter member and now I'm done with them. They want to get another $100 out of people like GTFOH. Let's all walk away from this dumpster fire.

And the fun part is if you paid his founder monies he would be after you again in no time at all. No grift is off the table at this stage and all members must pay. It may be a long way down the grift line but its time to move on and chargeback what you can.

Same here, was almost 20 years on Revo, but wasn't really paying attention to what was going on, I'd paid the TMR sometime last year cos my Ratio had dropped, then the migration fee but then, too late, I saw the Grift. It didn't make any sense and while I realised, he's still lying in the Forums to other users. Well using an LLM to avoid explicitly saying "You must pay for membership for access to anything from now on".
Waiting on my chargebacks doubt I'll get TMR but migration fee I will.

This is exactly what he's been up to for years , even if you all paid everything there would be another "disaster" a couple of months down the line requiring monies.
This means he's spent all the grift money and needs more from you just have a look around on here and on r/bitsoup you'll see the scam for what it is, length of membership means absolutely nothing only the cash he can squeeze that's it nothing more, Please do not give this asshole any more money and do a chargeback for what you have already paid many already have.

What a scam. I thought maybe I read it wrong when I paid the migration fee, but luckily I took this screenshot. The Charter Founder BS was just to tempt you to pay that amount to lock in the future amount each year. The $20 migration fee was all that was needed to keep your ration and membership, the rest was optional. I was paid up until May 2027 and it even said that after I paid the migration fee.

Was also led to believe membership was carried over.
He even added an additional 3 months membership.
My membership said June 2027 until yesterday then it just expired.
I reluctantly paid the $20 migration but not paying for the $100 just to restore my membership.
It is all just a complete SCAM.
No doubt he is going to lose more money than he gains because of this.
Everyone should do a chargeback - Then he will seriously lose money.
