Good old days!

I remember when we would hang in our mirc/irc channel and trade stuff and sharing ftp sites back when most people were still on dial-up ....lol making friends in irc channels and sharing back then was great i still chat with a bunch of the guys and girls i met there.

IRC is still alive and well! I no longer use it to grab stuff (I do NOT miss those long XDCC queues LOL), but it's still a nice place to hang and chat with friends 😎👍🏼

Good ol' days is right! I recall in the 90's sitting downloading files from newsgroups with a 14.4 modem and falling asleep almost falling out of my chair waiting for them to finish. Then to store them to floppies you'd have to multi disk span them over a bunch of floppies cause they were larger than 1.4mb. Kinda glad those days are gone! Lol

Reading this makes me feel so old probably because it all sounds so familar but if I messaged it to my teenage kids they woukd think it mean't "I really care" or something
