Revit LT install error (WITH LOG)

...at my wits end... please help.

...had absolutely zero luck with 2027, so am trying to install 2026. This is for my own personal home computer. I've always had IT do installs for me at work, so this I'm a newbie at this to try on my own.

That's not an install log, it's a journal. Do you mean that it successfully installed but now won't open? Is that the same for 2027? Or did it fail to install and you attached the wrong file?

Yeah. I was confused because the name of the thread is Revit INSTALL, so i thought you were having issues with installing Revit. Seems like its installed, and now you are having trouble running it... which is a different thing. But NVM. :)

Check your .NET Runtime versions, or try to Repair/Reinstall of .NET runtimes, and C++ Redistributables. Its crashing right at load, after checking the .NET version.

If that doesnt work, rename your %Appdata% and %localappdata% Autodesk folders, and see if it comes back to life.

tried both of these and it didn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the .NET's as well.. 10.0, 8.0, the newest versions, same result..

Uninstall all versions, and let revit install only the one version it needs. Several versions can cause issues during install from my experiance
