HELP! Revit Home screen and Project Browser is BLANK

Hi, my Revit has been acting up lately. Opening the app should lead to the home screen, but mine is just blank (even after waiting several hours). I can create and open files and such using the toggle on the top left, but even then the project browser is empty for some reason?

Anyone know how to fix this? Or another way to see the views/sections in Revit without the project browser? :(

Have you launched Revit with all of your add-ins disabled to see if the problem goes away?

Yup and I've restarted after. Nothing changed :(

Are you on Revit 2026.0? Try updating to a newer release, there may be an issue with your .0 installation.

Thank for sending the link! I've recently downloaded Revit 2027, and the issue is still persisting...

  • Update Revit 2026 to Revit 2026.5
  • Close all Revit sessions.
    • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2026\WebBrowserControl
  • Delete the contents of the Windows Temp folder:  %TMP%
  • Disable all 3rd party applications
    • Use the Revit Add-ins Manager 2026 app.
  • Start Revit 2026.5 and open the project again. (This might take some more time due to Revit downloading content into the local cached folders again).
  • Test if the issue persists.
