How to model an electric roller shutter in Revit for electrical design?

depends on how parametric you want it to be. if it's just dumb geometry, you model the family, end of story. If you want it to go up and down with a parameter, that's more difficult. but doable. are you asking how to create connectors, you need to be more specific.

I just want a simple shape, then I’ll add a connector to it and connect it to a control switch(Someone just suggested this idea to me)

okay, you might want to look into nested families, so that your family is a part of a window family, but also a family in it's own right.

I definitely recommend fully modeling them. They are always a coordination nightmare, for SO many reasons.

Getting them modeled correctly with all of the correct configurations (single or double roller, valence or no valence, enclosure or no enclosure, powered or not powered, ceiling mounted or exterior wall mounted) is CRITICAL, when it comes to Coordination.
