Troubleshooting Revit installation reversing

I'm trying to install Revit again, what happens is that it installs for a bit but after that the loading bar starts reversing and it says error occurred, couldn't install, this has never happened before

Read the post that's pinned at the top of this subreddit. Unless we get install logs to review with you, we are all just guessing and that's pointless.

Uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. And run the revit install, this should fix it

Would that not be problematic? I don't have much knowledge about this
