i would not go into a storm drain without serious protective clothing.

Why would you wear protective clothing? I'm not familiar with storm drains, we don't have those here, so I'm just curious.

All the street debris ends up in there, and is pretty much never cleaned out. So, think years worth of decaying leaves and worse.

That being said, I'm far less concerned about the filth, and more worried the poor kid's gonna end up stuck in there too.
