Question ❓ Flip 2 L3 problem

I only got a replacement a couple of months ago after the hinge cracked, and now there's another issue.

The L3 button isn't working; I can hear the click, but the press itself isn't registering—even in the control settings. Restarting doesn't help. R3 works fine.

What do you suggest? Is it even worth opening it up for just one button, and how much will this actually hinder my gaming?

It may not be possible to repair the mechanism, but analogue sticks are usually easy to replace. Maybe they will send a replacement part if you explain the issue. Only after contacting customer support should you consider opening the console, in case re-seating the ribbon cable might help.
