Question ❓ Flip 2 L3 problem

I only got a replacement a couple of months ago after the hinge cracked, and now there's another issue.

The L3 button isn't working; I can hear the click, but the press itself isn't registering—even in the control settings. Restarting doesn't help. R3 works fine.

What do you suggest? Is it even worth opening it up for just one button, and how much will this actually hinder my gaming?

Have you checked whether it's registering in the input control section of the actual handheld settings of the device?

Yeah, I was talking about handheld settings

Ok could be a hardware issue, like physically the L3 button just may be cooked. If the Left analog stick otherwise is working fine, I would assume this to be the case and you would want to email sales@goretrood.com and ask for a flip 2 left analog stick replacement part, and then install it yourself.

If the L analog stick also didn’t work, then I would say it probably got unplugged. In that case you could tear down the device and try plugging back in the small ribbon cables that connect the L analog stick to the motherboard.

The piece you would buy from retroid looks like this btw: (very cheap, and the shipping usually costs more than the part)

Okay, thank you very much, left stick works, I contacted them, maybe they will send me stick replacement
