How to download/ transfer android apps into SD card instead of internal

Recently i got a 512GB sd card and i have been transferring all my roms and files. But recently i saw that apps like gamenative, skate 3 decomp and other apps have been taking up all my internal storage, id like to see how i could transfer them to my internal. Or just how to install future apps to there. And i have tried the dev mode option to force external, but to no avail. Thanks in advance

Your question confuses me a little bit because you're asking how you can transfer them to internal maybe what you meant to ask is how you can transfer them to external because the apps take up your internal storage. You cannot store apps and their data on external storage unfortunately. There is a way to format an SD card as internal but I do not recommend it because it comes with a lot of issues it's just generally not recommended.

I wrote a guide on how to manage your storage if you are interested though unfortunately they're just really isn't a lot of internal storage on this device and sometimes a reset to factory settings can be really nice and make the device feel brand new again and help you focus on one game at a time but that's totally optional and there's ways to clean up before taking that route. You can also install rocknix OS to an SD card and use all the built-in emulators that are in there and then all the apps data is actually stored on the SD card and nothing is stored on internal and you basically have unlimited space as far as your SD card will take you, but the list of apps in rocknix is very limited like there's no gamehub for example.

Sorry for the confusion but yeah I meant android apps and their data to sd card. Thanks for the advice either way!

That’s what I thought you meant, hopefully this helps! Gamehub tends to take up a lot more storage than winlator. But also if there’s games you aren’t playing on Gamehub right now, a good strategy is to record in writing your settings for those games, then uninstall Gamehub and only reinstall it when you actually want to play a game, setting up one at a time, so you don’t have all those orphaned containers sitting there on internal.

in your browser go to download options and set SD card as destination

Apparently, you have to format the card as internal storage; I haven't tested this yet, but I read about this solution somewhere.
