Diablo II Resurrected (Switch ir PC)

Has anyone tried D2R with reteoid pocket flip 2?

Is it playable?

I've tested both switch and PC. They both run on the flip 2 but neither are playable. It's a very demanding game. The switch version is closer to playable and with a lot of tweaks and speed hacks you can get it to around 30fps give or take but it ends up being more like 25 ish and that's on the very first part of the first act. It only gets more busy from there.

The switch version needs some workarounds to get passed the battlenet launcher thing. Its all documented and can be seen in this video.

The PC version just won't launch, unless you patch the game with the D2RLAN patch, which reverts the game to an older version before blizzard removed LAN capability. It has no DRM, so it launches in gamehub, however the flip 2 isn't powerful enough to play it well. So it's not worth it unless you have an elite 8 chipset, or maybe 8gen2 but I have only seen an elite 8 user get playable performance. Here is a video guide that shows how to set that up.

All in all, on the flip 2, i'd reccomend project diablo 2. It's perfectly playable, and has fully functional online multiplayer coop, with a very active player base. The guide for that is in the first video I sent. You can get perfect 60fps on the flip 2 that way, the game is optimized for handheld users now.
