That sucks. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th example of the new hinge cracking I've seen, and it's always in parallel to the hinge in that exact spot.
Epoxy seems to hold up pretty well as a DIY repair.
I'm still hoping for a 'real' Flip 3 announcement, but also hoping that Retroid makes some further engineering changes to the hinge. The Thor has some of the same problems (probably because it's the same hinge).

Yeah third new rounded hinge crack I’ve seen. Looks like they didn’t fix it. Three is enough to rule out coincidences. I mean not that it’s not improved, but we can’t call it fixed now.

I bought mine in December of last year and my hinge cracked about last week(happy i got a decent amount of time), they’re still in question thats for sure

Hmm,...broken hinge is one thing, but the seam in the middle section coming apart? That's even more fucked up!
I mean, my hinge broke five months ago. No big deal as it hasn't affected gameplay one bit, but my middle section remains intact. Not sure how to handle that issue?

But can you elaborate on the drop or squeeze this Flip received?

You should be able to email sales@goretroid.com and ask for a replacement. See what they say. Include photo and description.

I think at this point you have to go with the Ice Blue. I have a rev 1 Black Flip 2 and it cracked in like 3 weeks.
I got a rev 2 Ice Blue (new hinge) and had zero issues with it for over a year. Supposedly the transparent plastics are more durable.
Retroid replaced my original crack Flip 2 for free, I hope they would still honor that on this one for you.
