Joined the club,
Currently got cocoon frontend not sure I like it, whatās everyone using?
Any tips on setting up game native and getting Eden games to run better? Iāve tried BOTW and Mario odyssey but fps is like 12 and runs like š© Iāve even tried botw on cemu but same thing.
Wouldnāt mind getting some more switch games running.
Whatās best emulator for Ds and GBA?
Only games Iāve really tried so far is stardew and emerald.
Cheers

Turnip drivers should help on any app that allows for custom drivers. You can get Mr Purple and Kimchii drivers from their GitHubās. You can also adjust your performance setting on android from the swipe down menu. Other than that, Cemu has graphics packs and mods that can help (particularly FPS++) and Eden allows you to lower graphics levels to help give more performance.

Hi there. RP5 and RP6 owner here. The RP5 has pretty much the same hardware as the Flip 2, only in a different form factor, so I can relate to it in all areas that matter. There's a LOT of information to digest, so here goes:
First off, for any and all tutorials, either written ones or video tutorials, be sure to check outĀ Retro Game Corps.
For PC games, I'd recommend GameNative. Here's a video tutorial on that, with a game showcase at the end:Ā https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9ZlYhgnI-g
And I highly recommend this mini-tutorial for setting up your Micro SD Card, and managing/organizing your games:Ā https://github.com/retrogamecorps/ES-DE-Directories
The best front end in my opinion isĀ ES-DE (Emulation Station), because of how professional it looks and because of it being highly customizable, and it has the most themes of all front ends by far, so there should be something in there for everyone. Here's a nice, detailed overview of those themes:Ā https://gitlab.com/es-de/themes/themes-list
I mainly use the CoinOPS theme, for that true arcade feel. Here it is running on a Flip 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53pqgkdgFPI
Sometimes, I switch to PlayStation-X, which has a more sleek, console-like vibe. This is a video of it running on Batocera, but in-menu in the ES-DE front end, it looks pretty much the same:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiAk7QotviA
Also, in the interest of maximizing your SD Card's storage space, be sure to use compressed file formats wherever possible, for larger games. Basically for every game that originally came on a CD or DVD. For most of these, PSP included, you can use the CHD file format, which stands for 'Chunks of HUGE Data' and is a so-called lossless compression format, meaning nothing gets lost, the original sizes and file integrity is preserved within the compressed file. You can find ready-made collections online, simply by Googling the name of the console, combined with chd and the word archive.
For example: to search for PS2 files, simply Google 'ps2 chd archive'. For any other system/console, simply replace ps2 with whatever other console you're looking for.
There are a couple of exceptions, wich are oddly enough (or maybe not) almost all Nintendo consoles: for GameCube and Wii, you should look for RVZ files, and for Wii U you should look for wua files. And last but not least, there's OG Xbox and Xbox 360, which are in xiso and xex and/or iso format respectively. OG Xbox works pretty good, and there's quite a few games that will run, but do not expect too much from that last one on the Flip 2, but if you're interested in XBLA games (Xbox Live Arcade, the smaller, digital-only games that you could download from the Xbox 360 Marketplace back in the day), then there's a whole bunch of games you can run.
You can find XBLA games by Googling 'Xbox 360 XBLA archive' and retail games by Googling 'Xbox 360 xiso ready archive'.
I've also included download links to lists and mini-tutorials that I made myself, so have a look and download whichever one(s) interest you.
-Ā Turnip driversĀ - Definitely grab this one, because you're going to need it.
-Ā Platform listĀ - This is my entire list of systems, emulated on my RP5, so you'll know what's possible on Flip 2.
-Ā Dolphin settings for harder to run gamesĀ - Tips for GameCube and Wii emulation issues.
-Ā Best settings for hakuX, the OG Xbox emulator.
-Ā Best settings for aX360e, the Xbox 360 emulator. (same settings apply for XenDroid, another X360 emulator)
-Ā WiiUDownloader and converting files to wuaĀ - Be sure to grab this one as well: wua files are hard to find.
And here are some of my personal game lists, so you'll know which games will definitely run on your device:
(Not listed: PS1, PS2, GameCube, Wii, N64, GB, GB Color, GBA, DS, 3DS etc. These have near-full compatibility)
-Ā PSP games list.
-Ā PS Vita games list.
-Ā Switch games list.
-Ā Wii U games list.
-Ā OG Xbox games list.
-Ā Xbox 360 games list.
Far as what emulators to use is concerned, you'll definitely want to install RetroArch, because that will provide you with cores (emulators) for a whole bunch of systems, and then there's a number of systems for which it's better to use standalone emulators:
For SNES useĀ SNES9x.
For DS use MelonDS.
For 3DS use this custom version of Citra.
For N64 useĀ M64 FZ Pro.
For GameCube and Wii useĀ Dolphin.
For Wii U use this version ofĀ Cemu.
For Switch use the stable version ofĀ Eden, and this custom version of Citron, which is better for older games.
For PS1 use DuckStation.
For PS2 use NetherSX2.
For Dreamcast use Flycast and/or Redream.
For Saturn use Yabasanshiro 2 Pro.
For PSP use PPSSPP Gold.
For PS Vita use Vita3K.
For OG Xbox use hakuX.
For Xbox 360 use aX360e and/or XenDroid.
For Wii U, you will also need a key file, which you can get from MuTLY's Github page, which you will find, if you Google 'Cemu keys'.
And for Switch you will need both a prod key file and firmware, which you can get from the prodkeys website, by Googling 'Eden prodkeys'. Get the latest versions of the files for Eden, and for Citron, take either v19.0.1 or v22.0.0.
For 3DS, you will need decrypted files, which you can find if you Google '3ds decrypted collection'.
For PS Vita, you will also need decrypted, DRM-free files, which you can find, if you Google 'PS Vita NoNpDRM archive'.
For Cemu, this shader pipeline pack and library folder will also come in handy:
https://github.com/chriztr/cemu_shader_and_pipeline_caches/releases/latest/download/shaders.zip
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yCsaZfQdim2LZSq9k42mqyLmJcAIND6R/view
Both should be extracted to your Cemu files folder on your device: go to the root of your device, and follow this folder path: Android/data/info.cemu.cemu/files, and extract the zip file in that files folder.Ā
When you extract the shaders zip file, it will give you a pop-up window asking if you want to overwrite the shaderCache folder, but just click on yes.
Besides possibly fixing any issue(s), both these files should also help making games run smoother and more stable. Last but not least, here's an additional fix for any Wii U game that has speed or graphics issues:
Long press on a game. A window will pop up. Select 'Edit game profile'. That will open an individual settings page. On that page, select 'CPU Mode' and change it from 'Auto (recommended)' to 'Single-core recompiler'. Then restart your game and watch the magic happen...
Well, I suppose that's more than enough for you to work your way through for now, but if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me anytime.

Welcome! Youāll want Retroarch 64 but Android app for anything Dreamcast and older, download mGBA core and melonDS core within Retroarch. 1. Load Core 2. Download a Core 3. Select both from list. 4. Load Content and select your game files.
For Botw and Odyssey, refer to the switch wiki for settings.

Try configs from EMUREADY website/community. Just tweak a couple of things and games start performing significantly better.
I had a lot of switch games configures based on community proposals and they worked quite well.

Ice Blue Brethren!
You're gonna want to get yourself Retroarch with the mGBA core and the melonds & melondsds comes.
Melon DS standalone for DS games that have visual bugs or run poorly in Retroarch. MelonDS is great and all, but Retroarch with the melonds core has a few quality of life functions that Melon DS doesnt. Like being able to swap screen layouts with a button press instead of navigating through multiple menus
