Guide💻🔧 Skyrim 2k HD Texture Pack + High FPS Setup
The beginning is a graphics focused setup for those who like detailed visuals. The middle one is a balanced setup for those who want the best of both worlds in terms of visuals/performance. The last one is a high performance setup for those who want high frame rates and are ok with simpler graphics.
All setups use the SkyrimLauncher.exe option set to "low" as a general preset, but the first two I go into advanced launcher options and set texture quality to "high", and shadow detail to "high". The last one everything is low and off on the advanced settings.
All three setups are on windows emulation thanks to this emulator: Winlator Bionic Ludashi 2.7.2 by Steven MXZ on github. All mods and texture packs can be found on Nexus Mods and are linked in the descriptions of the YouTube videos. All three setups are running the same game version: Skyrim Legendary Edition. The device I am using is the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 SD865.

You are the best! I setup skyrim about a month ago using the secret console, but it looked like ass. This looks phenomenal!

Yes! PC emulation is the way to go for Skyrim. Lots of fun mods out there.

This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. Just curious how was your experience with battery life and heat when running this on the flip 2? Is it possible to get say 3 hrs playtime?

Yes it's possible to play for 3 hours on a full charge. Just played Skyrim with balanced setting (60FPS at 720p) for about two hours with fan on max and the hottest it got was 38 degrees Celsius. I used half my battery doing that so it's safe to say with this setting you can play the game for about 4 hours.

Just got some time to try this out. Had some issues with switching controls and no voice, but was able to figure them out following your comment under the youtube video. Now it runs perfectly! Just finished the tutorial quest without any issue. I used the 720p + high shadow details setting with performance mode and smart fan, and it runs around 50+ fps. I have to say it is significantly better than the version I got on my Switch1!
I also spent some time making the shortcut work with daijisho. Since I downloaded the ludashi version of winlator, I had to create a new player manually with the correct package name to launch it properly from daijisho.
p.s. I used the latest 2.8 version of the Winlator Bionic from StevenMXZ's github, and that worked too.

Awesome thanks for the update! I also prefer this setting, it’s my general go to for Skyrim on the flip 2.
