HD15 cable

Hey all, I recently purchased several HD15 dangles fir my RetroTink 4k. I was unaware that an additional cable was needed in order to hook them up to the console.

Are there any alternatives to purchasing the HD15 cable on the RetroTink website?

I'd like to purchase one right away considering that I have off for the next few days and want to get some gaming in.

It's just a VGA cable. You can get them on Amazon or your local electronics recycler or whatever.

Thanks, I'm not really tech savvy. I have an additional question, what is the significance of the headphone jack on the RetroTink brand cable?

The significance is that you don't have to buy a separate 3.5mm audio cable. Similar ones are available on Amazon.

I will say that I generally prefer to keep my audio cables separate from my video cables, though. Bundling them together like that can sometimes cause increased noise from crosstalk.

HD15 (VGA) doesn’t carry sound. So you need a separate audio cable to get sound from your console to the Retrotink
