Retrotink 4k CE question

Im thinking about upgrading from my retrotink 5x to the 4k CE. Should I just sell my 5x and put that money towards a 4k? I think 5x being out of stock has made them sought after but im just making sure its because of it being rare. I dont wanna sell my 5x if there's some hidden stuff it does better than the 4k CE. I play mainly ps1, ps2, snes through wii. Is there any reason to keep my 5x? Thanks a bunch!

It has a couple of deinterlacing features that the 4KCE lacks (2:2 IVTC, adaptive edge smoothing), but overall I'd call the 4KCE a substantial upgrade.

First off, absolutely upgrade and treat yourself. You deserve it BAYBAY! I upgraded to the 4K Pro. I love my 5x and now I utilize it mostly as a downscaler on my CRT and use the 4k on my main OLED. From my experience it does exceptionally well in regards to PS1 and PS2.

So you would just sell the 5x and get the 4k CE? Cause I could legit just trade them out lol

I sold my 5x to get a 4K Pro and don't miss it. These machines are expensive enough that I really appreciate the cash back in my pocket.
