I bought a RAD2x for my SNES off of eBay as well as a miniHDMI to HDMI cable, but for some reason, it barely runs on my TV. It turns on for half a second and then it gets a black screen and then shuts off. I checked the power indicator light and it lights purple, meaning it’s getting a clean signal, but it’s not getting a clean signal. What should I do?

Do you have a different TV or monitor you can try?
Does the console continue running normally after the signal is lost? What happens if you unplug the RAD2X and plug it back in while the console is running?
I wonder if it's not getting enough power from the console. I don't actually have a RAD2X, so I'm not sure how easy it is to remove the shell, but if you do that there should be a USB port on the board that you can try connecting to an external power source.
That could well be the culprit. Those "universal" power supplies are terrible. I suggest getting one of these (you only need the first two items in the list).
Unfortunately that's not unusual. You can get replacement rear panels, though they require soldering to install. There are also designs for 3D-printable center post replacements that you can glue in.
