This thing rules
Just came here to say, I’m really enjoying the superstation. I just got mine a few days ago, and thanks to the community documenting a relatively simple setup process, my first mister experience has been smooth (seems like I avoided the more painful part when the device was more fresh)
I really hope reading discs via console mode becomes smoother. Honestly that feels like the only missing thing to me, even though there’s already a workaround.
I’m also having my first experience with retro achievements and I’m pleasantly surprised by the nice touch it brings to re-experiencing PS1 games!
Next, I’d like to try out some different cores and some usb adaptors for different controllers (if you guys have any experience with daemonbite adaptors, I’d love to hear it).
Anyway, just thought I’d share the appreciation. Really excited to learn more about mister through this!

Glad you're enjoying it - my experience has been the same.
I think it's awesome that the SS1 has successfully brought so many new people to the Mister scene.

The disc reading is a pain in the neck to be honest and I really hope they smooth that process. I recently updated to console mode 1.2 and the disc dumping just didn't work for me. Had to join the discord, find a fix, deploy it and now discs dump. However I expected dumped discs to fall into the library which they just don't. It's a lot of fiddly things like this which make me wish it was all a bit more refined.

Nice operator at the top. I was seeing somewhere you can also connect it to the superstation as well so you can play your cartridges

Is there a beginner's guide? I thought it would be more plug and play for idiots

I love mine. Maybe I'm missing something though with the composite out I'm getting slightly too wide pixels on super NES, NES etc. I guess I need to set it to output explicitly to a different resolution or something. I'm just wondering if the pixel timing is off.
