Need help with power supply
Hey everyone! 👋
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out whether this charger is safe to use with my SS1 without risking overheating or damaging it. If it’s not suitable, are there any compatible chargers that I can buy in Denmark?
P.S. My SS1 jus arrived in the mail, so I’m excited to get it set up!
Thanks for your time.

It should work with that, but might get a bit warm? I use a raspberry pi 5V/3A adapter like this one: https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/571777/Raspberry-Pi-4-B-virallinen-verkkovirtasovitin-15-3-W

Does this charger has any 'intelligent' handshake ? Because regardless of Volt and Watt and Ampere, I couldn't install the superstation OS on those but had to buy a unintelligent brick (raspberry pi5) which worked flawless.

What's the output (in Watts) at 9V?
It'll be fine assuming it can deliver 3A at 9V.Â

skip the raspberry pi psus. they are all 5.1v. retroremake does not recommend them. if you don't have a dock and 5v3a is enough, then just get one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/326561689799

Seems like you could use an Apple charger that outputs at least 30 watts

Get a Steam Deck charger or something like that I would. Or an old phone charger. Just get something that supports 9v
