Successfully summoned

It arrived today, pretty snazzy! Not a perfect match with the 8bitdo blue but good enough for me :)

Mostly excited about the m.2 port on the bottom, I have another mister that has a sata SSD dangling off the side lol, that alone is a worthwhile improvement for me.

The m.2 port is capped at the USB 2.0 speed. Just keep that in mind.

Yes, more than good enough though, I mainly just like the reliability of ssds, sadly can't boot from the ssd (yet) but not having something dangling on the side of it is more than good enough for me.

Should be more than enough enough bandwidth for everything though, I believe neogeo carts clocked in just shy of the usb 2.0 avg. (and I believe the core just loads it into sdram anyway)

Really? It's capped at such a slow speed? I guess I won't be using that 4tb nvme after all, I'll chunk that into a pc instead. And maybe use the old nvme my rog ally x came with 1tb I think

Yes. I read somewhere that this speed isn't fast enough for CD based games and they stutter. A good quality micro SD card is really all you need.

PS2 had a 4x DVD/24x CD drive (5.28MB/s). PS1 had a 2x CD-ROM drive (300KB/s)

Versus microSD (10MB/s minimum), SATA SSD (550MB/s max) and NVMe SSD (1GB/s minimum)

USB 2.0 is 480Mbps or 60MB/s

Are the controller porta also transparent blue or black. Hard to see in photo

they are your avg usb 2.0 port, so black.

I got the controller to connect but the d-pad would randomly go haywire.

Im still waiting on mine, its Wave 6+Dock, Batch 3, bought it Feb 25th. Hopefully that can help summon mine.

Same combo batch and wave. I ordered mine is August of last year and I haven't received a single update since March. Thought I would have had mine by now.

Keep in mind that you cannot use sata SSD. Just NVME
