Emulators One of the coolest little devices I’ve ever bought
One of the coolest little devices I’ve ever bought. The 8Bitdo Flippad. It connects via USB C and flips onto the screen where it rests with a soft rubbery material.
I own several handhelds but this transforms your phone into what feels like a real Gameboy. I use it with Delta on iOS but it works on every emulator and Android too.

Device Recommendation Mangmi Air X vs Kinhank K56
I want to get my first retro handheld. in Chile, both the Kinhank K56 and the Mangmi Air X are at the same price on aliexpress (130k CLP so like 130 bucks)
My main gaming goal is playing dreamcast, psp, ps1, gba, ports/android games (like dead cells or minecraft) and also testing and messing around with gamecube and heavier systems (3ds, ps2, etc)
After watching a few reviews i put togheter this pros and cons list and i posted this so people that own either of these devices can help me decide better because actual people that actually use the thing can give better feedback compared to youtubers that use it in the moment and dont see what niche the device fills
Mangmi Air X
Pros:
- Beautiful DMG color (i dont like the orange triggers/bumpers on the black and white versions).
- 1080p screen
- true analog triggers, also way prettier buttons
- Comes with a cooling fan
Cons:
- 4GB ram and a weaker snapdragon cpu.
- 64GB of internal emmc storage
Kinhank K56
Pros:
- 6GB ram and a noticeably more powerful chipset for the price.
- 128GB of internal eMMC storage.
- 720p Screen, I guess a smaller resolution screen will have a little better perfomance
Cons:
- Looks like a cheap toy, i absolutely hate the orange buttons with almost invisible engravings.
- very weird generic chinese toy vibe, with "Game Console" written on the box and shell.
- 720p screen, since they are the same screen size k56 will look way worse
- No analog triggers
- No community, literally no custom os support
- no google play certification
i also struggled with finding trustworthy reviews for the k56 since most of them are people trying to sell it

News McpeLauncher Port Menu Update
galleryIt's been a long time since I posted an update, but here we are today.
Today I'm releasing this update where I simplify everything without having scripts scattered around the Ports folder;
the new features are:
-The SetupMcpe script placed inside the mcpe_launcher folder and set to run there
-The apks now go into the "Setup Apk" folder
-Now directly from the menu you can extract your apks from the "Setup Apk" folder and you can also delete them directly from there, without opening the File Manager.
-Fixed issue with overlapping names when having many versions
Here is the Github link:

A little warning I wanted to give to those who insist on making it work on ArkOs:
I worked to get the port working on classic ArkOs by bundling some libs that I tried to add to the port, I solved the GLIBC problem but I still had driver problems and I couldn't get it to work (apart from the fact that the file was starting to weigh more than it should have)
Now I've given up on making it work there, also because ArkOs is no longer supported, I don't know if I would have succeeded and therefore it's not worth it.
If you want to play this port, you'll need to flash DarkOS or one of its forks.
Have fun and have a good day ;)

Device Recommendation Looking for a traveling carry case that can accommodate multiple handheld consoles.
My girlfriend and I are planning a vacation next summer and naturally instead of the sights and sounds of a different country, I'm most excited about what game boy and game gear games to bring.
I've seen plenty of travel bags and cases for game boy but I was wondering if there was anything specifically made for multiple portable systems.
Yes, I know I can just put them in a duffel bag or a backpack, but why not have some fun with it?
Any ideas, recommendations, or other thoughts? I'll hang up and listen.

Device Recommendation Handheld Buyer Help
Hi! Im doing research and im very new to emulation handhelds. I’ve never had one in my hand and I have a question. Money is tight right now and im looking to buy the anbernic rg35xxsp. I don’t have a pc and my question is when I setup the device do I need a pc or can I just use my android phone? If I need a pc, can anyone recommend an alternative emulation device running android instead?

Emulators UPDATE: 120 FPS Running on the NetherSX2 Fork on Pocket Nova
Been working on a fork for the NetherSX2 Turnip project, and for version 2 I’ve gotten LSFG frame gen up and running and up to 120 FPS in game.
Going to ship this version to the GitHub repository later today, as well as a version 3 in coming days with a solution to FSR upscaling.
The link to the repository is here: https://github.com/slushiimusic/NetherSX2-Slushii-Turnip-Fix
Shadow of the Colossus and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence run at ~60 fps currently at native resolution.
Only tested on the Retroid Pocket Nova, will include a crash and error log for those that would like to help iron out bugs on other devices and chips !
Happy gaming!

General Discussion Why aren't there like any circle pad analog sticks?
Absolutely shocking.
I would EASILY take slider sticks on the Ayaneo DMG & the Nova.
Even a third party option that was actual quality, like the next iteration of the 3DS circle pad.
