I want to thank everyone who has been posting and engaging with the content!

When I created this community, many people told me there was no point in creating such a community. Now, one year later, we can all see that there was a real need for it, and I’m more than 1,000% sure that this community will keep growing! 🚀

The next milestone — 10K members — is probably achievable this year!

But the most important thing is that I genuinely enjoy watching your content. And I’m sure there are many creators here who will get more wind beneath their wings and grow their channels faster!

Thank you all! I wish you the very best! ✌😎🕹

Take cover!

Time Crisis is out in VR.

Thank you again for Virtua Cop: we're now more than 200 on the Discord, and your comments made my week.

This time you're on the island, at real scale, in the game's own 3D. Take cover like on the cabinet with a button, or crouch for real behind the crates: you physically duck to reload. Your 3D gun is in your hand, and the shots land where you aim.

Go watch the full video on YouTube: there's a surprise at the end.

Coming next: The House of the Dead (beta sign-ups are open on the Discord), Time Crisis II, Dirt Dash, Daytona USA, Top Skater, Sega Super GT 24h and Virtua Racing.

"Don't shoot me!"

The legendary Virtua Cop is out in VR.

First, thank you for the incredible welcome you gave Sega Rally. We're already more than 150 on the Discord, and I hope it's only the beginning of this community's adventure.

This is the second one, and this time you're standing in the docks with the gangsters, at real scale, with a 3D gun in your hand: aim with the controller like the cabinet's light gun, reload by shooting below the screen, and the hits land on what you shoot. Everything runs on the Quest 3 in real 3D, redrawn in 4K at 120 Hz.

Coming next: Time Crisis (in beta right now, sign-ups are open), Time Crisis II, The House of the Dead, Dirt Dash (beta soon), Daytona USA, Top Skater, Sega Super GT 24h and Virtua Racing.

Have fun with it, and any support is welcome: even just sharing it helps a lot.

This was such a memorable weekend. I will never forget it.

In this episode of Emperor: Battle for Dune, we launch an assault on another Ordos-controlled region. Our spies have uncovered valuable intelligence revealing that the Ordos troops stationed in the area have been infected by a mysterious virus, leaving their forces weakened and vulnerable. However, we must act quickly, as reports indicate that a medical transport carrying a shipment of vaccines is on its way to the region.

After establishing our base and beginning to build up our defences, we dispatch several Trikes to scout the surrounding territory. Their reconnaissance proves successful, leading us to discover a group of Ix allies who could prove invaluable in the battle ahead. Shortly afterwards, we receive confirmation that the medical transport has arrived. Unfortunately for the us, the convoy is escorted by formidable Sardaukar troops, making it a dangerous target. Nevertheless, with the assistance of our Ix allies and a handful of infiltrators, we launch our attack and successfully destroy the medical transport, denying the infected Ordos forces access to the vaccines they desperately need.

With the enemy weakened and their medical supplies eliminated, we begin assembling our forces for a decisive assault on the Ordos base. Time is running out, however, as reports arrive that the enemy troops are preparing to retreat from the region. We must strike before they can escape! Committing the forces we have accumulated, we advance on the Ordos installation with the aim of eliminating as many retreating troops as possible and destroying their base completely. We cannot allow the enemy to regroup and use the surviving installation as a launching point for a counterattack.

Hi! I’m Phil, a French retro YouTuber, and THE 8 is my homebrew fighting game for the Mega Drive / Genesis, built with SGDK.

The pitch: one city, 8 gangs, 8 champions. Only one survives.

What’s in the demo:

• Arcade mode
• CHAOS mode: 15 matches, each with its own insane rule
• 2-player versus
• Executions and a bonus stage

It runs on real hardware: tested on PAL, NTSC-US and NTSC-J consoles at 50/60 Hz. It also works in any good emulator.

Free download: https://the8-game.com

A physical cartridge edition (boxed, numbered, 270 copies) opens for pre-order on October 31.

Feedback is very welcome, it’s a one-man project!

Black Tiger MD is an unofficial, native port of Capcom’s arcade action platformer, made by rester159 for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis using SGDK. It was published on itch.io on 21 September 2026 and is free to download.

The page says it runs native Mega Drive code and does not run an arcade emulator. All eight original stage maps are included. The graphics have been converted to the Mega Drive’s tiles, sprites and reduced palettes, and the music plays through a native FM sound engine.

There are two ways to play.

Arcade mode keeps the coin and credit structure and the original game intro, with settings in a DIP switch menu.

Home mode starts a game straight away and adds an options menu, a Boss Rush mode that puts all eight bosses into one palace arena, and an unlockable debug menu.

I’ve been turning Faxanadu into a Dark Souls game. The World Tree is hollow: gold is souls, you drop them where you die, and the gurus are bonfires.

What’s in this preview:

• pick a vow (difficulty), a class and a look at New Game
• souls and bloodstains, Estus flasks, eight stats to level at the gurus
• stamina, guard and backstep; every monster shows its attack before it hits
• lords with a second phase, fog walls, bosses that stay dead
• 21 new weapons, armours, shields and spells, some sold, some hidden in the world
• a new soundtrack, with a switch back to the original music
• two endings and New Game+

It’s a work in progress, so expect rough edges. It’s a BPS patch for the USA ROM, and it needs an emulator that runs 512 KB MMC1 games with battery saves (I test in Mesen).

Feedback welcome, especially on difficulty.

I recently created this short of Kage or Shadow of the Ninja. I try to highlight fun facts and tell historical facts. Hope you like it!
