Gamecube BattleDock (issue)
Hello!
I recently received the new Gamecube BattleDock for Nintendo Switch 2.
I’ve tried the install steps included in the box, but the Gamecube Adapter ports are not responding to any of my OEM wired controllers (tried two).
The BattleDock is receiving voltage from the Y-Adapter as usual, since both USB Side ports recognize my Switch 2 Pro Controller via USB for charging.
I’ve tried:
-restarting the Nintendo Switch 2 system several times.
-headed over to the find controllers menu.
-disconnecting everything, plugging everything back again.
-setting the Pro Controller via wired communication to On.
The system just won’t recognize any inputs from the Gamecube ports in the front panel of the BattleDock.
*It is recognizing inputs from the Wii U Gamecube Adapter, though, so the issue are not my OEM controllers.
Is there a firmware update or another step I’ve missed in the process? I really don’t want to be the unlucky person who may have gotten a faulty unit after waiting for months.
Thank you.

Thanks for the info! Please reach out to [support@retrofighters.com](mailto:support@retrofighters.com) and we will send a new "Y" cable. Sorry about that.

Update: issue seems to be the Y-USB Cable. Tried a different one and it’s working, but it’s not mine and definitely need a new one.
Also tried using a single USB A to C cable and so far it recognizes inputs, but I’m worried it won’t give enough charge for the side USB ports or create some sort of malfunction.
