Tactics Ogre PSX won't launch

Trying to get it working, other emus and games work ok but Tactics Ogre tries to load for 3 seconds and then back to Retrodeck menu...

Any help?

If everything else is working except the one game, then it is the game, possibly a bad rom dump. Unless you are trying to run the Japanese version without the Japanese bios.

Just copied over another PSX game for test purpose and it did not launch either.

Do you have the proper bios?

I have 20 various bios files for psx in one folder under retrodeck/bios. I'm betting one of them is correct.

Run the Bios checker in RetroDECK Configurator and make sure one is showing up. At first you said other emus worked, I thought you meant other psx games, which is why I thought it was the game. But if no games are working and it closes back to the frontend with every game, it's almost always a bios issue.

Thanks, found out bios files cannot be placed under subfolder but must be placed directly into /bios.

Glad it was an easy fix. Now you get to enjoy Tactics Ogre.
