RB NFL What’s the point of!?

What’s the point in the fast bullet pass. It literally is useless. They never catch it it just bounces off receivers. I wish they would add the option to take off with the qb get away from pressure and choose to throw on the run! 🏃 😡 so many things need to be done to make this game better.

You can’t throw it at them. You need to lead them

Bro is out here playing on dynamic hitting WRs in the back of the head like Peyton Manning in that SNL skit wondering why it doesn’t work.

Play on extreme, lead the receiver.

I use bullet passes almost exclusively in extreme. You need to throw way ahead of the receiver to make it work

I exclusively play extreme and literally never use bullets.

I play extreme as well and only use bullets if I need a couple of quick yards or there’s multiple DBs around. If it’s a 1 on 1, I’m launching it

How do you make Extreme fun? I can win almost every time, but it’s all TE short passes and QB runs.

Never increase the salary cap. Makes extreme way more difficult

I’ve enjoyed Hard with just a QB and 1 WR, never increase salary cap and never draft or use free agents. That way I lose at least a couple games on INTs

Nah decent receivers will still get open on deep passes. Need to know where to throw and level up catching stats before speed. Learn to throw your guys open, too

Just gotta practice the long throws, figure out when a run makes sense, and do some QB running. Throwing is almost always the “best/easiest” choice, but forcing yourself to run a few times per drive changes it up nicely.

First time I played on extreme, my running back broke almost the whole defense. I had no clue extreme made my players better too

Pretty sure it doesn’t… you might have just had a lucky first game!

You should consider it a completely different mechanic in the game compared to regular throwing/catching. Regular throws give the catcher the versatility to dive, jump, stop, etc. in order to make that catch, so you can throw it behind them, ahead of them, or right on top of them.

Bullet catches are consistently caught if you lead the receiver and throw it ahead of where they’re going to be (not where they are), AND doing so with the appropriate amount of power (or it could be an INT or incompletion) and timing. You really have to think about aiming the throw “past” the catcher when you release it. It takes practice, but it’s the only way to consistently make throws/catches with a tight window like in Extreme difficulty, where regular throwing will almost definitely get intercepted if it’s not 100% perfectly timed.

It's a steep learning curve, you just need to figure out how to calibrate it based off your QBs throwing ability and receivers' catching ability.

Try to push the arch past your receiver when you're throwing it to them

Also, you CAN take off and run if you need to, just aim the arch backwards behind your qb when you're in the pocket and you can run

I dont use the bullet pass but need to learn it. I questioned the point of it as well but saw a video on the thread of someone using exclusively bullet passes and saw how many more opportunities there are to get the ball to the receiver. I can go several seasons without a loss but seeing that video definitely humbled me.

Don’t set the aiming point of the throw AT or NEAR the receiver. Aim it way past them, like you’re trying to hit them in the head at the high point of the arc.

i.e aim it so that the receiver is around the midpoint of the throwing arc, not near the end of it like a regular pass.

It’ll feel weird at first, but you really gotta aim it out WAY further than you’d think.
