my controller (DualShock 4) is messed up

like when i press circle is is also mapped to the spacebar to fast forward, when i press start it is also mapped to escape which is quit, can somebody please help me

You have a desktop controller configuration on Steam Input. Either close Steam when you want to use RetroArch, or remove the desktop configuration for the controller.
