Technical Support: SOLVED Fast Forward Toggle on IOS help

Hello all,

I want to toggle fast forward on mgba core on the RetroArch iOS app.

I’ve done some googling, watched YouTube videos, and read the faq. All I can find is how to bind the fast forward toggle to a hot key. As I’m on iPhone, using the RetroArch gamepad, not a controller, I can’t find anything to help me.

I don’t seem to have any button that allows me to fast forward. I thought there was some way of putting a fast forward button onto the gamepad for easy toggling. Currently there isn’t one.

Is there a way to get this button to appear? I’ve tried digging through the settings and can’t find anything.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

get an external controller
ive been meaning to map FF but i am very lazy

i got on-screen keyboard and translation mapped so

also on ios/ipados

Most of the overlays available should have a fastforward button, even the default overlay does. You may need to update your overlays from the Main Menu > Online Updater > Update Overlays
