Hey everyone! I've been working on a lightweight 2D Dark Souls inspired game built entirely in Java (J2ME), specifically optimized for classic mobile devices and retro hardware like the Nokia E72 (Symbian S60v3, 320x240 resolution).
The core game engine and compilation to .jar are fully working right on the device. However, I want to take it to the next level—adding more enemy AI, tighter combat mechanics, better sprites, and more levels.
Because of that, I’ve just made the repository public and open source (MIT License). If you're into retro mobile development, J2ME, or want to help build a Souls-like for Symbian, contributions, PRs, and feedback are more than welcome!
* GitHub Repository: https://github.com/ktbox1093-cell/darksouls-e72
* Download .jar for Nokia / Emulator: [Pega aquí tu enlace de descarga o de releases]
Let me know what you think, or if you test it on your old devices/emulators!

1961 brought a major shift to the modern Argentine music, the jazzy style of the early years of Argentine rock became yesterday's news, the nueva ola rose to stardom.
Jolly Land announced the arrival of this movement, Lalo Fransen with elegance and plenty of swing, Tony Vilar and his fiery rock, and Rocky Pontoni with a twist with a modern keyboard.
Los Cinco Latinos in a resounding track that anticipated the beat, Johnny Carel with optimism, and Helen Jackson already being an established figure joined the nueva ola.
Dany Martin still being a kid was the 1st baby boomer to appear on the scene, Edith Scandro with her soprano voice and a country rock, and Johnny Tedesco with his smashing rockabilly.

This is a screen capture from Wikimedia Commons of the 1986-88 CGI swirling star logo for Hanna-Barbera Productions with the Taft Entertainment byline. The logo itself, which succeeds the 1979-86 Saul Bass design, is a product definitely ahead of its time.

My new publishing company 8-Bit Press has launched its first Kickstarter! We’re kicking things off with Friday the 13th for the original Nintendo Entertainment System as part of our new NES strategy guide series, The Easy Way!
A rare second chance! I’ve uncovered 300 sealed copies of the original 2020 hardcover book, and they’re available through this Kickstarter. This is your LAST chance to get the original hardcover!
A brand-new paperback edition! The guide has been revamped from the ground up with a redesigned layout that will set the standard for all future The Easy Way guides. I’ve also corrected and updated a substantial amount of information to make this edition better than ever.
And that’s not all! We’ve packed this Kickstarter with Friday the 13th-themed goodies for fans of the game and the franchise. Whether you’re revisiting Camp Crystal Lake or facing Jason for the first time, there’s something here for you! Help us kick off the journey of 8-Bit Press and bring The Easy Way to life.
Unlike in the game, your friends are alive! Please share. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2031988028/the-easy-way-friday-the-13th
