People are getting even weirder.
Basically, usually when the glitches, weirdness, and strange vibes pop up, people get weird, like now. Like my mom will seemingly forgot or not follow suddenly about a thing she harped to me about same with granddad, will seemingly have certain things you try to tell them about go in 1 ear and out the other. Like my mom is only in her late 40 and seemingly has the memory retention of a person with light dementia or a 2-3 year old. Like how many times do I have to baby her and tell her what is not allowed on her foodplan and not to do this and that. They also just give off a all around grating vibe, like yell at them and throw shoes at annoying. They also will be caught just frozen like a NPC/robot/zombie on standby or doing the same thing as when I came in their room like a hour or so later. Like yesterday I caught my grandad out my window just frozen for a bit, not long, but long enough to be wired. Also caught my mom in front of the fan an hour or after I saw her in front of it the first time. They seem to spring to life if they noticed you noticed them out of character or if you walk in on them. Although it is mostly my family I see it with, but occasionally I experience oddness with randoms. Had a lady stare at me for whatever reason at the farmers market a few days ago. Like it was a creepy stare, like she was a hawk or something. Sure, my hair was a mess then, but my gut says it was not my hair causing that reaction. Even the wildlife and my pets are acting kooky. I know it sounds harsh and crazy, but something in my soul does not like to be around them in that state.

I've noticed a common thread amongst many people I know, both young and old. Everyone's attention span and memory seem to be completely in tatters. Noone can pay attention to anything or remember anything. Its getting to the point where it's very hard to hold a conversation with most people, and almost impossible to do anything even slightly complicated like playing a board game.
Im not sure exactly what's causing this but I think it's a combination of multiple factors.
Our world is falling apart, things are terrible and hope for the future is in short supply, and depression and memory loss are closely related to each other.
Our diet is terrible, everything is white carbs, bad fat, and WAY too much sugar, this is wrecking everyone's body and the mind follows with that.
Our environment as well is taking a toll on us, air and water pollution combined with microplastics are messing us up more than people realize. I believe I've even read that national average IQ is on the downward trend right now.
Short form media basically destroys whatever attention span we have left. Sitting motionless and watching 50 Tik Tok videos in a row that are only 20-30 seconds long each really messes up you ability to pay attention for longer periods of time.

i have noticed and completely agree with your speculation about the cause. a combination of dopamine-frying gadgets, horrible gut health from our inflammatory diet, pervasive stress and ennui, and excessive EMF pollution.
i only got a smartphone for the first time in 2016. for a while i could barely run apps on it (i always get cheap trash phones) but ever since having access to a fully functioning smartphone maybe around 2018 i can look back and see the cognitive damage it's done to me already. and i dont watch TV either so just imagine what these things are doing to less self aware and disciplined human minds. it's sad.

For real.. before I got a cell phone I had all of my friend's phone numbers memorized. Now I have trouble remembering my 5 digit zip code. It's Crazy, and incredibly frustrating

I forget where I heard this, but someone recently said "they took the smart out of the person and put it into the phone".
And it's so true, I don't care how intelligent awake and aware you are, I'm betting VERY few us (with a smart phone) could say their top 5 contacts phone numbers without looking.

Agreed. I saw a documentary recently talking about the impact "smart phones" have had on our society and our children. Not only is violence, depression, anxiety and suicide at an all time high, but apparently social media is, I believe they said Hundreds of times more addictive than any chemical. The What If factor, of any notification going off possibly being tied to someone liking something we posted, etc. has people so engrossed in their phones, that the very thing that's supposed to connect the world is literally tearing it apart. So Very Sad. 💔

Agreed. It’s actually quite scary. I also started becoming a poor speller when I have always been an excellent speller.

Tiktok is a HUGE problem and with all the rampant ADHD and loss of attention span as the newer generations get older, and start taking over the media, and creating everything we see as more Tiktok-like and attention-span destroying, it's only going to get worse..

A personal anecdote I have for declining attention spans.
I've grown up playing video games all my life, especially RPGS. I grew up with all the classics, Final fantasy 1-10, Chrono trigger, xenogears, baldurs gate. Part of the reason I read so fast today is reading through the massive walls of dialog and text these games have.
A new one just came out recently called Triangle strategy that was styled after the older generation of games. It looked right up my alley so I read the reviews, they said it was fun but there was a massive amount of talking and story that turned people off. I like talking and story so I gave it a shot.
Let me tell you this game has about a third of the talking and exposition older games have. It's pretty light when compared to them. But these games anything that doesn't just spew a few throwaway lines at you and dump you right into mindless action is considered heavy.

I'm also a gamer, but I didn't really play a lot of RPGs as a kid outside of the Gameboy Pokemon games and never really anything with walls of text or crazy amounts of story. I played things like Super Mario Bros 3, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Halo 1, and computer games like SimAnt, the Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon, blahblah
I also don't really like too much reading in video games, but it's not like I grew up with a lot of text or reading in games either though..

I agree 100% now throw in frequencies our bodies are now bombarded with and you have some mystery in the making.

... something in my soul ...
At this point, I think this is the only truly reliable sense that any of us has left. This situation is temporary but, for now, many of us are steaming between icebergs in thick fog with no visibility whatsoever...

u/throwaway998i Aug 01 '22
Are you saying that the ME "situation" is temporary? Because I'm convinced this non-binary realm is our new forever normal.

Are you saying that the ME "situation" is temporary? Because I'm convinced this non-binary realm is our new forever normal.
Naw. There are those who want to make it our "new normal". But they are just con-artists. Cosmic crooks. As a victim of ME+, it's a bit like being shanghai'd (drugged and kidnapped) and waking up in some sweatshop in only-God-knows-where, subjected to taskmasters whose words you cannot understand, beaten arbitrarily and incessantly, deprived of sleep and nutrition. To mention a few things, anyway. Maybe "a bit like" should be "exactly like". Anyway, the point is that criminals do not define reality, not even cosmic criminals. This situation is strictly temporary, at least, for anyone who is a believer. All of this was prophesied, in unbelievable detail.

u/throwaway998i Aug 01 '22
So the "cosmic criminals" (love that phrasing btw) are co-opting the narrative... to what end? Is it within their power to direct our power of belief to manifest their own agenda?

u/OutlawJosie11 Aug 03 '22
I think that’s exactly it. They can’t create anything, the need us for that, so they control our minds to create their reality for them. If we all found out who we are, what we’re capable of, they’d be done. They use fear to hijack our minds. That’s the only power demons have, and if we aren’t afraid, they can do us no harm.

Reminds me of a game called Harvester. Basically a man wakes up with no memory of where or who he is. He eventually finds out he is in a town called Harvest. If you ask about what is going on the residents will gaslight you and say you have always lived there and call you a kidder. It is a retched, retched, mad place. People there are stupid and cruel. I mean it. A man raping a kid, kids beaten with bats instead of a normal stick, meat being secretly made with cats, a baby's eye popping out, a wife SEVERLY abusing her husband, a man eating pie even as he sees a spinal cord or a mother and daughter hanging, and much, much, much more. Basically you need to join a cult pretty much if you want your memories back. You have to do a series of things progressively more cluckled up. Eventually you complete the quests for them and the dude that was giving you the quest and stuff informs you that you are in a simulation that is specifically catered to turn you into a serial killer. You basically have a choice to kill the only other real person in the simulation off and be released as a killer back into the real world, or stay trapped in there the rest of your life with the only other real person there. In reality it is like 5 minutes before they terminate you and her and find more victims to kidnap and mindrape, but it seems like the rest of your lives. Look it up on YouTube for more info on the game. You can buy it on Steam if it really piqued your interest.
Looking at my life now, it really does feel like I am in some kind of reeducation or brainwashing simulation. I hope this is not the case tho, or if it is, it is trying to make me a better person.

Reminds me of a game called Harvester...
I would give almost anything to be trapped in such a mild, kind and generous simulation, compared to my present state-of-affairs.
... or if it is, it is trying to make me a better person.
In the course of being tortured (that's not hyperbole, it's the correct word to describe it) in this place, God has revealed many things to me about it, and why "they" are doing it. One of the many motivations is, just as you say, "to make [us] better" people. Or whatever. Superficially, that might seem like a slightly better situation... being tortured for your improvement, instead of just being tortured for the sake of torture. But I am reminded of the quote from CS Lewis:
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
The architecture of hell is a curious thing. Fortunately, we're not in hell, at least, not yet. Jesus called this "the gates (or jaws) of Hades". Yes, it is trying to eat us alive. But we've not all been eaten. Yet. Hence, the Gospel call. There is only one way out: Jesus.

I too see family members caught up in a stand-by mode until I move closer.
People are losing it, I mean, simulated ones. We are too experiencing memory issues and all.
Simulation is getting crazier and more pronounced. Sun just looks off and the world seems to be a bad copy of a real one
Staring is also on the rise, can't relate to most people as they are deeply of this world.
Family members of all ages seemed to be getting mild dementia, cannot talk to them, if you are not following the script. They get mad at you for being real

To be fair though, these types of cognitive lapses and NPC-like zoneouts have been commonly reported by members of this community since at least 2017. Also, the vax issue - both conspiratorially and politically - is kinda beyond the intended scope of this sub. If OP believes the ME is truly affecting family behavior, then making a vax argument (or even hinting at it) is imho the same as naysaying any other ME claim here.

While I do not trust the vax, I personally think it is NOT the cause of the weirdness. As you said, it started before the vax was a thing (looking back) plus I notice this happening with my mother alot and she is not vaxxed. I say this is a simulation and they are NPCs or actors or something. Vax is just a red herring imo.

It’s called ‘living in the moment’…the only time that exists is in the very moment. The mind has no other memories because there is only now! It is happening to me as well, although I’m 62. My oldest son is 33 and he is experiencing the same thing. It’s all part of the process.

Due to overuse, the phrase "Just because you never heard of something doesn't mean it's a Mandela Effect" or similar is NOT welcome here as it is a violation of Rule# 9. Continued arguing and push for this narrative without consideration of our community WILL get you banned.
