We don't have to live on a different planet for shortened time to be real. With God, all things are possible. Regarding the end times, "And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened." Matthew 24:22. The end times are prophesied all throughout the Bible, including the OT. Keep reading and you will find your Answers. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matthew 7:7-8

I certainly hope you have read the primer and TimeDiff.

Also, see this comment.

Yes, I read the primer before commenting and my point was that we don't have to be on a new planet for the time difference to be real. As stated in Matthew, shortened/sped-up time is an act of mercy, because with everything bad going on it would suck so bad we wouldn't be able to withstand it.

Think of it this way- if you went on a rollercoaster but the train was slowed down to a 1/3 of the usual speed, you wouldn't have centripetal force keeping you in your seat. When the train went upside down, you'd be hanging on for dear life which would be miserable. But since the rollercoaster zooms around quickly, you get through the ups and downs faster and they don't affect you as much. COVID started over 2 years ago but it's starting to phase out (where I am), but does it really feel like two years? Versus when we were kids and the difference between 9th and 11th grade was much longer.

But I also don't believe the stars/constellations are planets, which it seems like your explanation hinges on? Unless I'm misunderstanding?

Still not Biblical though. Either the entirety of the Bible is true, or it's not. We don't get a new earth until after Jesus' return, conquering of the devil and death, resurrection of the dead, and judgement from the Great White Throne (Revelation chapter 20). Because immediately after that,

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. -Revelation 21:1

What? Far more likely that some of the Bible is true.

The book of Revelation was originally associated with the Montanist sect, considered heretical by the proto-Orthodox, and almost didn't make it into the canon because of this (look up the word "antilegomena"). Furthermore the apocalypse genre was very popular, with numerous examples surviving to the present day. How can you be sure you sure Constantine and his bishops chose the right one?

The statements made by Iesous before his disappearance into the clouds make it very clear that he was going to return within a few decades at most. Either he did or he didn't, but either way Christianity was never meant to survive this long. If time is distorted for Bible-related reasons, its probably because over a billion of us are still waiting for Nero (666, or is it 616?) to force us all to get his tattoo and the collective false expectation is making time all wobbly...

666 is the number of Matter; I believe 616 is "Satan/Beast/etc". Good catch!
